The surface is built up. Each pass lays material over the last, and depth accumulates until the relief holds the profile the drawing specifies.

Because the relief is printed, it follows the pattern exactly. A drawn line becomes a raised line at the same coordinates, at the depth specified for it.

Specification is by reference code. Depth, substrate compatibility and finish are confirmed per project.
