Embossed Printing

The pattern is printed, then texture is pressed into the same surface in register with it. A grain, a weave or a stone face lands where the drawing places it.

Registration is the work. Texture and image share coordinates, so the surface reads as one material under a hand.

Depth is shallow and even, a tactile finish across a whole face.
